  • The man was in his OWN HOUSE! What was the basis for arresting him? And why were the charges subsequently dropped?!?! Seems like an admission of stupidity to me. Yeah, this is why I have no respect for police.

  • beyonddisgust, they will try to find a scapegoat for everything and anything. The US is an easy target because of our past meddling in others' affairs. Note that the Ayatollah also blamed Britain and Israel for meddling, which they have done none of so far as I can tell.

  • I feel for these people as much as the next person. However, saying ANYTHING about these elections gives validity to the clerics' propaganda targeted at the conservative rulers and supporters, that being that the West is trying to manipulate and take down Iran.

  • @KR-265231  - How can you say that private companies wouldn't commit resources to finding genes? Look at the money that gets poured into medical research. Billions of dollars are spent every year finding cures for cancer and other diseases. If you can find the gene, you can find the cure.

  • Being from the area, I can tell you this is a republican district. The only reason Gillebrand won is because she should be a Republican, not a Dem. The Republicans are just trying to spin this as a hit on Obama because that's all they ever do. They don't DO anything.
